MEVLIDCONCEPTS
The reciter's place and the seating layout differ in each concept; there are separate layouts for a memorial, a Mevlid for a newborn, a return from Hajj and a holy Kandil night.
Additional concepts are added to the venue quote separately.
MOTHER-OF-PEARL
A small layout inspired by the Mevlid gatherings held in old Istanbul homes. The reciter's place is in the fireplace corner, with the tables facing it; coffee and conversation on the terrace.
COTTON
A quiet, colourless layout with white flowers only, for memorial gatherings following a bereavement. The rows extend from the hall to the terrace; the reciter's place is at the far end of the terrace.
TULIP
A bright spring gathering held as a Mevlid for a newborn or a family prayer. The recitation takes place on the terrace, in a semicircular layout; vases holding a single tulip hang from the awning beams.
EMERALD
A gathering with a meal served after the recitation: for a return from Hajj, a new home or a new workplace. Ivory tablecloths and emerald table runners; on the terrace, a fringe of ivy hanging from the awning.
OIL LAMP
An evening gathering for holy Kandil nights. On the terrace, two rows of glass lamps shaped like mosque oil lamps; in the hall, sesame rings, halva and tea.
